I was given a tape by a friend some years ago and this tune was on it played on a guitar. I think I have come across it as a piece of classical music, but have never known the name of it. It is one of those tunes which once it gets inside your head, persists for hours if not days. Can anyone identify it for me please? One of my friends at the Tynwald Inn thinks it is The Coolin' and I have just listened to a version of that tune and agree with him, though my interpretation may not be exact.
