A superb choice for police officers and civilian the Glock 26 deserves its excellent reputation for reliability, simplicity, toughness, durability, accuracy, firepower, value, and lightweight carry (21.5 oz!). Several other designs try to de-throne this mighty mouse and are coming close but the Glock 26 has held its ground for over a decade now. The Glock 26 provides amazing size and weight efficiency for its capabilities. The only real downside is its thick slide which makes some carry methods, like bellyband and ankle carry, more uncomfortable than thinner guns like the Glock 43.
