Hip Hop Hospital: The Breakin' Convention crew, Mr Dane (graffiti), Maxwell Golden (MC), Mensa Ansah (MC and beatmaker) and Sebastian Thiel (film maker) visit Great Ormond Street Hospital, London November 2013. More info: http://www.breakinconvention.com/get-involved/education/packages/hip-hop-hospital Our team of top artists (emcee, music producer, graffiti artist and film-maker), work closely with hospital staff, to bring Hip Hop to the wards! Children learn about Hip Hop history and get the chance to rap, record, sketch, paint and DJ, or if they prefer, get behind the camera with our film-maker. During the course of the week children will record rap, make music and create a huge graffiti piece, all of which will be filmed and edited into a short exciting film. Hospitals to get the Breakin' Convention treatment include Great Ormond Street, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Hip Hop Hospital is fully inclusive and can include a combination of group work as well as one-to-ones. We work with hospital staff to ensure everyone can get involved. Filmed and edited by Sebastian Thiel of It's Upshot
