These stripped down performances are perfect to really digging into the phrasing and dynamics that I am using to shape the phrase. Notice how all of the notes swell in and out of the direction the lines go, and how the notes effortlessly land on the goal notes. The idea behind this series is to make it easier to hear what's going on with playing a simple melody. The tune is My Romance played in the key of C concert (A on the alto, D on the tenor).
