Imagine driving down the highway, in your newly purchased vehicle, and having it burst into flames! That’s exactly what happened to a Delaware Valley 17-year-old. Mackenzie Shaughnessy and her brother were on route 422 in Montgomery County, riding in the S.U.V she had owned for less than an hour, when it burst into flames. A passing motorist saw the raging fire and recorded video. Mackenzie tells Action News she and her brother barely made it out of the burning vehicle alive. Her next challenge was a fight to get her money back. She and her family believed that the man who sold her the used S.U.V. owed her a refund. But that was easier said than done. After trying on their own, they turned to Nydia Han and the Action News Troubleshooters.
