Video capture of 17% Illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon to share with others. I havent seen much of the moon since the supermoon because of cloudy skies, early moonsets, and low percents of moon's Illumination(new moon). The moon reminds me of a clock. It is getting easier to know approximate times per moon locations in the sky. Also, with the positions of the moon as the earth rotates are like numbers on a clock if you guage it by the one circle that is at 12 during a full moon. Lastly, there is the illusion of the moon moving(which it does 5%) as hands do on a clock(constant motion). Since I have been video capturing the Moon I find myself missing earth's illuminated moon shining down on earth from the night sky when I cannot see it. To add - What a day for Earthchanges, for example,Two 7.4 earthquakes off the coast of Miyagi prefecture at a depth of about 30 miles, magnitude of 6.5 centered about 73 miles from Tuxtla Gutierrez, magnitude 3.6 earthquake in central Arkansas. Lastly, NZ 5.1(USGS) Moonrise today was at - 9:15 AM EDT, Moonset -11:48 PM EDT. Sunrise today was at - 7:05 AM EDT, Sunset - 7:48 PM EDT. Weather - Temperature - approximately 68 degrees, Humidity 61%, Wind 6 mph South, Conditions - Clear, Cloud Cover - 19%. Thanks for watching :)
