London-based director Matthew Stone and artist Jesse Darling interpret Stravinsky and Ramuz's theatrical three-piece dance, L'Histoire du soldat (The Soldier's Tale) with the devil taking the form of a would be-lover. He seduces the soldier using the promise of Scotch, wealth and sex. This dalliance unfolds to a soundtrack of house beats and bar room chatter.
