Pretty much my all time favourite platformer, pioneering (afaik, or at least the first one I played) the 'hub' style of platformers that paved the way for the almighty Symphony of the Night and the likes..

I'm far from pro at Super Metroid (or any Metroid), but i've completed this a couple of times, so I didn't feel much guilt about breaking out a walkthrough/map for this one unlike usual.. the game's outright fiendish in where it places shit.  A pro can destroy this in under 2 hours with ease, but a noob could hit over 10  hours quite easily due to being lost/confused where to go, which I really didn't wanna do (it's been like 10  years since I last finished it).

Regardless, i'm never keen on following walkthroughs word for word, so only used it to get warmed up and then only referred to a map from time to time afterwards.

Even still, it took me 5 hours (one set).. but it was as fun now as it was 14 years ago :]
