Our good friends at Zildjian have given us this opportunity to get a hold of some super special cymbals.

These are all one of a kind prototype cymbal hand made by master cymbal smith Paul Francis. Who’s spearheaded so many of the fantastic cymbals that have come out of the Zildjian factor for many years now.

Here with us today we have…

20” K Custom Special Dry Projection Crash:
This cymbal carries all the characteristics of a k custom special dry crash but with the increased size the 20" hits a slightly lower tone and a little more volume.

Dark, short sustain with instant impact.

Could also be used to ride on as the dry, pronounced stick response creates very little overtones.

20” K Custom Fast Crash:
This beautiful example of a modern K Custom could not be any better! 20 inches or musical magic. Loud, cutting but still as musical as any other K Custom Cymbal the 20" K Custom Fast Crash has just the right amount of decay with impressive volume and a bite that matches its bark!

22” Crash of Doom:
The original Crash of Doom was conceived when Dennis Chambers challenged the guys at Zildjian to recreate a "ridiculously trashy sound" of a cymbal he found on a trip around china! Much like it's originator the 22" Crash of Doom is ultra-trashy, low pitched and even darker that the 20" version.
It's loud, intrusive, has an exceptional attack and is incredible for special effects and accents.

24” Crash of Doom:
The original Crash of Doom was conceived when Dennis Chambers challenged the guys at Zildjian to recreate a "ridiculously trashy sound" of a cymbal he found on a trip around china! Much like it's originator the 24" Crash of Doom is ultra-trashy, low pitched and even darker that the 20" and the 22" version.
It's loud, intrusive, has an exceptional attack and is incredible for special effects and accents.

Special Dry Zil Bell:
Shaped the same as the Zildjian Volcano Cup this one of a kind Special Dry Zil Bell looks insane with its raw unlathed finish. This means it's loud, aggressive but has a shorter sustain compared to other Zil Bells. Perfect for accents and cutting ride patterns.

We have some incredible examples of the way Zildjian innovate and create products that are not just the run of the mill almost “expected” products.

No more of these prototypes are being make! Once they’re gone they’re gone! So, grab yourself a piece of Zildjian History today!
