For the first major battle scene of The Empire Strikes Back, John Williams wrote an extraordinary 15-minute suite of varied and inventive music. This was written and recorded in 5 parts, and I'm hoping to complete piano arrangements of all of these. This is Part 1, variously known as "Drawing the Battle Lines" or the first part of "Ion Cannon." This is before the battle itself, while major players on both sides both make preparations - Luke by sharing a warm moment with friends, and Vader by murdering one of his own admirals. As usual, I'm sorry to say I have no sheet music to share, but I do appreciate any and all constructive criticism, and I hope you enjoy listening.
