I used DecoArt Americana Acrylics 50/50 with Floetrol and a bit of water.  I used a few drops of treadmill lubricant 
 (silicone) in all the colors except Titanium White and Lamp Black. 
 You can seal your canvas after it has dried at least 72 hours with DecoArt DuraClear Gloss Varnish.  It just needs a few coats that you allow to dry as recommended and I use a sponge brush to eliminate having brush strokes.  I just seal it in a ziploc bag between coats to keep it moist.
