For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1976 Triumph TR6. Produced from 1969 to 1976 the TR6 was the most successful sports car to be produced by Triumph with sales figures of just under 100k units during a 7 year run. These fine sports cars were produced under the British Leyland conglomerate which was responsible for the MG, Jaguar, Austin, and Rover brands as well. This incredible piece of machinery was restored from the ground up in a concourse quality restoration that was completed last year. Equipped with the 2.5l inline 6 these triumphs were known for their low end torque and spritely handling. Some say that the TR6 was Leylands best creation and this particular vehicle would be a fine example of why. The interior is swathed in deep pile carpeting and luxurious black leather. Under the hood everything is as it came from the factory minus the twin Weber carburetors and upgraded A/c compressor. Decked out in an absolutely stunning red paint job, you will be certain to gain attention when out for a cruise. Nothing was left un touched during the restoration from the new top to new cockpit canopy this TR6 definitely comes complete. This is by far one of the stoutest and most solid TR6 we have come across and would make an incredible addition to anyone’s collection. Located in our Orlando Showroom, this 1976 Triumph TR6 can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
