Srila Prabhupada answering the question of Cow killing according to Vedic Scripture. This Man in black (on the left side) is an example of Rascal. As you can see from the Video he is very lusty and nervous because deep down he knows animal killing is against scriptural injunction.

This is one of the problem with rascals who are meat eaters. They cannot understand the Subtle truths. With such degraded consciousness (because of their sinful activities) they cannot understand anything about God or matters involving Higher Consciousness. 

Any person who wants to understand God needs to purify themselves. As a meat eater I can tell you from my experience, that this habit of Killing animals (or even buying meat products is a big stumbling block). So before you try to understand God make sure you stop this business of eating nonsense meat products.

You don't have to believe me, why not try it for yourself. Give up meat for 6 months, what do you have to Lose? You have everything to gain, once you see the difference in your thinking and level of increased awareness about subtle things.
