Here are the two official logos for Rivingtonfilm and Rivingtonfilm Services 2008. Rivingtonfilm____________________ Rivingtonfilm began in 2002 as 'Rivington Productions'. started by Stephen Smith. The studio practised film making, with everything on a low level and no films were ever completley finished. In 2004 Rivingtonfilm inherited 3 of it's most vital members, (Sam Jenkins, Joe Akroyd and Sam Mills) who all began going to a school film club ran by Tony Mair to improve their skills, in 2004 they made one film for the Weatherhead Film Festival entitled 'Bonkers & Lunatic' starring Stephen Smith and Ryan Kell. Over the next two years the team practised and learnt tons of skills and in 2006 it was time for the first film. 'Frostie's Night Out'. This was a simple 'Sci-fi' film about a robot snowmen which were sent to destroy everyone in the world and Eric finds out that they melt, the film was made in one night and was released on New Years Eve/Day. Some of the crew have been to additional training courses, including a camerawork and editing course run by a retired ITV/BBC cameraman and also a course at 'The Learning Lighthouse' and many more. Situated in the Capital of Culture for 2008, Rivingtonfilm tries to incorporate as many locations as possible and will try and do this even more during 2008, travelling upto an hour away from were they are mainly situated. Rivingtonfilm do many types of productions from action to music concerts. Rivingtonfilm joins up with other film companies such as Trettfilms and MXFilms, but has afflited with 'Philmz' extremley well and have made many films with them including the feature film 'Breakout'. Rivingtonfilm use three video cameras at the moment, the JVC HDD Everio, the Canon XL1s and the Sony HDR, for photography Rivingtonfilm use a Nikon D40x with extra lenses and filters. For editing Sony Vegas 7 and 8 are mainly used but Adobe Premier is sometimes used and Adobe After Effects and 3Ds Max are used for VFX/CGI. Rivingtonfilm strive to bring the highest quality films as possible now, and for many years to come.
