Requested by NoNeckKota and GuyroMaster As I have said many times before... "Gotta go you gotta go you know you gotta go cause it's the sky deck zone~~~" ^ Is what I sing whenever I play this stage. This is a fun one! You've got those cool grabby cylinder things, the stairways, the wind below you: it's all great. For this one, I kind of imagined it being Eggman's personal elevator music he plays right before entering THE SKY DECK ZONE. The drums give the premonition of this being a tough stage while the other instruments have a bit of a sangfroid taste to them. I think that contrast makes this white world sound final in tone but also as if Sonic remembers how tough this stage was before and knows he can take it on with his increased set of experiences.... ...or at least it would be that way is Sonic Team actually had time to/wanted to flesh out the story JUST A TINY BIT more than they did. Next up: Jungle Zone, as requested by my friend Megamaster7941.
