Here is what I came up with to charge 40 Apple iPods and HP iPaq PDAs. If you are dealing with more than few mobiel devices like I do, you know that you either have huge space hugging power strips and thick cords all around or you are charging your devices in groups. Well it got old for me so I came up with an idea to make life easier for everyone with multiple devices. When I say multiple I am talking about 40 iPads and iPaqs, and 40 iPads. Now you are looking at 80 devices to power up and charge. Power strips not practical in this case. You will literally need a dedicated room just to charge and one wall outlet will start a fire if you hook your power strips on one wall. SO what do you do? Here is the answer. You buy USB multipliers. The ones I have has 6 splits one input. So I can get one input from the power and pass that to 5 others. That leaves me 1 empty slot that I use to hook up the other USB multiplier. So I do the same there and move to the next one. I repeat it until I hook up 80 total devices together. Then I turn the power on on the small power strip I got in my closet. All devices pick up the power one by one with no problem. So to demonstrate this I made a simple video with 40 of the mobiel devices I got. To prove that it works with products other than Apple iPod, iPad, iPhone I hooked up 20 iPaqs by HP also. Enjoy the HD video and let me know if you have any questions.
