Host Charna Davis Weise and Dr. Kristin Congdon discuss the UCF-China arts connection by looking at how the UCF Film and Digital Media departments are creating an international partnership with China. Students of the China Vine project are shooting and editing footage that documents Chinese folklore. Different styles of folk art are highlighted from embroidered shoes and cricket boxes to woodprints and dough art. Also featured is Tomas Valadares, a UCF Graduate student ,who is the production manager of the China Vine project.
