BRICS countries have called on the bloc's New Development Bank to accelerate lending to the private sector and for closer working ties. The New Development Bank, formerly referred to as the BRICS Development Bank, was addressing the BRICS Business Council meeting in Durban. One of the achievements of the BRICS Groups is the establishment of the BRICS Bank. The bank's headquarter is in China, while the Regional bank is in South Africa.
