For this years Anime Boston 2013 Convention someone had the beautiful idea of folding cranes as a memory to the victims of the Boston marathon bombers. An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane. These are paper cranes that I have folded and kept in jars for a few years, I decided to use them for this project and folded any extras I need to equal to 1000 cranes! Time/length to string the cranes? About a month from doing it on and off!
