PlastDip handle boiling grip lift

Testing the insulating properties of my PlastiDip handle. It has a coat of PlastiDip on it followed by a wrapping of 1/8 inch nylon cord and then another coat of PlastiDip to tie it all together. I strung the nylon too tight BUT it is insulated enough as you can see me pull the cup off of the alcohol stove while the water is boiling. Not uncomfortable at all. Don't do that with a bare handle though.
