Here are Heats 1 and 2 (of 3) of the Varsity Girls 800 Meter Run at the 2018 Asics Orange County Championships (track & field).  The meet was held on April 14 at Mission Viejo High School (southern California).  The meet brings together teams from all over Orange County across Southern Section divisions.

Commentary:  Second heat is the speed group.  Fast (68) first lap doesn't lose Ellis as her stretch strength is too much for everyone else.  Big stretch run by the San Clemente soph shows the speed that netted her a 2:19 PR two days earlier.  The 3 juniors that follow are right around their PRs.  Those 5 are top 200 performances.
