The flowers are growing… and so is your bump! Here are three easy ways to dress your bump for spring.

1. Invest in a few staples, including… Maternity jeans: You'll wear them a lot, and there's a style for everyone. A spring jacket: Pick a light fabric, like cotton or denim. Maternity tees and tops: Wear as layers in early spring — and solo as temps rise. Maternity skirts and dresses: Wear to work with a blazer or cardigan, or on their own for weekends.

2. Shop your closet for… Low-rise pants: Wear a belly band – no need to buy maternity pants! A roomy raincoat: Your rainy-day slicker may offer some room to grow. Comfy sandals: Give your flip-flops a rest. Reach for sandals with arch support. Stretchy skirts & dresses: Flowy maxis and sundresses take you through trimester two.

3. Here's what to skip… Maternity leggings: Instead, buy regular leggings a size or two up. Accessories: Keep it simple — and use what you have. Maternity bras: wait to buy nursing bras until baby comes. For now, stick to regular bras with adjustable bands. Maternity cardigans: The ones you have are fine for layering. Just leave them unbuttoned.

And remember: Wear what makes you feel comfortable and happy!
