After five years of intense fighting to hold onto the city, Syrian opposition forces in Aleppo are on the verge of losing their stronghold as the Syrian army gains more territory. Abu Ali, a Syrian army soldier, claims control of Boostan al-Pasha neighborhood was taken by the army and the Kurdish YPG. “Boostan al-Pasha is under control. It was taken by the Syrian Arabic soldiers together with the supporting forces like YPG as they did not manage to make any substantial advance without our assistance either from warplanes or long-range artilleries or any other help to recapture the neighborhood from the terrorist groups. As you see the area is under the army’s hands and the situation is fine. With the help of God, we are strong and there is no doubt that we will clean every span of Aleppo across the city," said Ali.
