Pharmacists demand professionals' involvement in legislative process

There will be widespread circulation of contraband medicines if the Health Laws Amendment Bill 2018 is passed as it is. This is the assertion of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya, which says the proposed law, which is currently in parliament, lacks important clauses such as one that includes and acknowledges professionals in the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. The pharmacists want the legislative process slowed down to allow for proper consultation.
