REEF's Taylor Leopold breaks down the inspiration behind the Rob Machado Sandal Collection. Rob wanted a sandal with top of the line comfort and cushioning, but with a simple and clean profile. Something lightweight, easy to wear and could get wet while at the beach. We took that and developed the Machado Day Sandal. Our team expanded on it by enriching the sandal with a full grain leather upper and footbed, making it the perfect sandal for Rob to wear out at night- evolving into the Machado Night Sandal.
