More than 200 proponents of Planned Parenthood gathered at Duncan Plaza near New Orleans City Hall on Friday afternoon (Feb. 10) to support funding for the organization, which operates a $4.5 million, 8,000-square-foot clinic on South Claiborne Avenue. A few protesters against abortion rights were also present to denounce Planned Parenthood, which lists abortion referrals in the menu of services on the website of the New Orleans clinic.
