This is my marathon from wave 2. I broke my ankle 13 weeks and 4 days before this and used the event as the carrot for my recovery. I was only able to skate for about 18 days before the event and in that time worked my way from 80mm wheels to 100's. I would have liked a better time but I'm pretty happy that I pulled off the whole thing in the time I that I did. I will go through and cross reference bib numbers to participants and see if I can send facebook messages to people who might be in it. Sorry the view gets all angled but I was wrestling my water bottle in my collar since I had to skate in a warmer shirt without pockets.
