A beautiful chase, parallel run and a overtake between two passenger trains over the Sabarmati river, Ahmedabad. 12915 Ahmedabad Old Delhi Ashram SF Express powered by a BGKT WDP-4 crawling on the third line as it was slowing down for its scheduled halt at Sabarmati Junction (Towards Mehasana side). After few minutes, comes in the 59049 Valsad Viramgram passenger powered by a ABR WDM-3A attacking the bridge at a decent speed, and also overtaking Ashram Express after a small parallel run. This train was also slowing down for its scheduled halt at Sabarmati Junction (Towards Viramgram side). 
The Sabarmati river has three railway tracks (All coming from Ahmedabad Junction). Usually the second (middle) and third line are used by trains going towards Mehasana - Abu road, while the first line is used by the trains going towards Viramgram side. The third line is a dual guage line which was used by BG trains as well as MG trains that ran all the way till Delhi (in the 1990's).  The Mehasana end of Sabarmati Junction is much closer to this bridge due to which trains are moving slowly.  Meanwhile, the Viramgram end of Sabarmati Junction is little far off from the river bridge and hence trains travel on this track with slightly more speed. Hence the passenger train could easily overtake Ashram Expess.
