Talking about what happened to the Synology 1815+ NAS Box and how difficult Synology has made it to redeem the warranty.  So far, Synology has not done anything to make the process easier.  As I use this box on a daily basis to serve business files to computers and mobile devices I cannot afford to either send it out or shell out the retail amount just to redeem a warranty, this is very silly.
