Originally recorded December 6, 2018. This is a nice take on the outdoor solar lights we've seen out there. It's rechargeable via solar, and recharges its internal battery in 6-8 hours, and claims to provide up to 10 hours of light at night. Mounting is nice and easy, screws and wall anchors are provided. I would recommend hanging it on a screw or nail for easy access, as the button to control it is on the back. There are 22 LEDs, 10 on the front and 6 on each side. That disperses the light better in a wide angle. The LEDs are of the cool white variety, and put out 364 Lumens of light. It has a motion and light sensor, and there are 3 modes. The lights will not function during the day, so it needs to be dark out. The modes are: 1. Dusk-to-Dawn. The light comes on when it gets dark out and stays on until it becomes light out again (or the battery dies, whichever comes first). 2. Dim-to-Bright. The light comes on at dusk but stays lit dimly. When it senses motion, it goes to full brightness. When no motion is sensed, it will go back to being dim, and will shut off when it's dawn. 3. Motion sensor only. The light will not function until dusk. At dusk, the light will stay off unless it senses motion, and will go out when it no longer senses any motion. The cycle stops at dawn. So it has a lot of flexibility and functionality for your own personal needs. I'd expect the battery life would be extended by choosing the 3rd mode, which is motion sensor only, the light will only come on when it senses motion. Nice bright light, easy to mount, solar rechargeable, very handy for those areas where you don't have any light but need some, and have no way to run power there.
