I simply use 3 shellmets to damage boost through the skewer. You have to time your damage boost so that the donut drops just as the skewer is about to extend. This allows the skewer time to break 2 rows of blocks instead of just 1. The timing is kind of tight, but it's not too bad. Also, in case you're wondering why I need the P-Switch, there is a yellow turn block below a launcher that I need to destroy before I can access the dome shellmet. I use the P-Switch and POW to do that.
