This is an old Dixon Brothers song from @ 1936. The Dixon Bros. only recorded for two years and never made a go of it, but many of their songs turned out to be classics. Also many were copyright stolen by many other famous people (including Roy Acuff who was in litigation) The Dixon's never made much money from their songs and spent most of the time in cotton mills. Any way, this is a slight sojourn into bluegrass. This is originally played on a slide guitar but I hope you enjoy it any ways. I like songs about drinking!
