Acrylic Pour 43 - Experimental Beauty Paint brands, pigments and recipe listed below! This was just an experiment with a flip cup color combo. I have been running into problems with my yellow (Hansa Yellow medium) taking over my paintings. I chose it because it is one of the least dense pigments but I am starting to think I need a denser yellow. It also is not the most attractive hue of yellow. So I had this color combo that I was working with and I needed to try different combos and orders to see how the flip cup would look. Four cups left to right / 1 through 4; 1st cup (far left)= -white -dark turquoise -teal -white -brown -yellow ochre -yellow 2nd cup= -white -teal -white -brown -yellow ochre 3rd cup= -white -teal -brown -yellow -yellow/white 4th cup (far right)= -white -dark teal -teal -white -brown -yellow/white Results were inconclusive. Though I liked the 2nd cup outcome the most, there was no real control and too many variables. The panel sat around in my studio for a month and I finally decided to further experiment with it by trying my RESIN layer technique on it.
