Filmed during a Sage Dynamics CCW Techniques clinic. During this drill, the student is required to engage a close contact threat while moving a third party out of the line of fire.  In this particular drill, the need to fight through equipment problems is highlighted as the student was forced to engage the threat while his cover garment was tangled in his weapon grip, complicating his ability to push the third party to safety.  In training and practice we get the urge to "reset" and "try the drill again," which is a bad habit to develop.  Fight through your problems.
