This week, investigations into the brutal slaying of a Telegraph newspaper boy lifts the lid on a vice racket run from the offices of the Government Printing Office.  

The Telegraph ledger leads DI Reid (MATTHEW MACFAYDEN, Anna Karenina) to the heart of one of the city's most eminent financial institutions, Barings Bank. The trail reveals blackmail, looming economic disaster and financial corruption. 

Meanwhile, Captain Homer Jackson (ADAM ROTHENBERG, Elementary) seeks means of ridding himself and 'Long' Susan (MYANNA BURING, Downton Abbey) of the suffocating debt they owe the moneylender, Silas Duggan (guest star FRANK HARPER).
