This is a modified 'Thomas Motor' that is running on the light energy from a tea light candle. The solar panel is out of a solar garden light. I modified the Thomas Motor design by adding two air core coils that face the magnet rotor.  All the coils are wired in series but the coils on opposite sides of the rotor are out of phase (one pushes and one pulls).   The addition of the two red wire coils greatly reduced the amp draw and allowed this motor to operate on very low power.
