Heavy Rains Trigger Flash Floods, Landslides In Tripura, Assam; 6 Dead

Six people have been killed due to incessant rain and landslides in the last 48 hours in two northeastern states of Tripura and Manipur. Four people were killed in Tripura and two in Manipur. Thousands of people are stranded in Assam as flash floods hit several districts in the northeastern part of the state. Four trains have also been cancelled. The regional meteorological office has warned of heavy rains in the next 24 hours.
