When serious fishing time is called for, The Dauntless 270 quickly converts into a hybrid style Bay/Offshore boat that is all business. Removing the forward cushions and adding the casting deck filler panel to the forward seating area creates a large casting platform on the bow while folding down the aft bench seat converts it into a rear casting deck as well. The deck layout is very fishing friendly, providing easy 360-degree mobility. Three insulated forward locker/fish boxes are handy for fish or gear storage and feature overboard drains and hatches with stainless gas shocks. A very roomy storage space is also found beneath the forward console lounge seat. This area has plenty of room for gear including recessed pockets for (2) 5-gallon buckets, a dive tank rack and (5) five rod holders. This Dauntless also features a 30-gallon live well option in the deluxe leaning post which also sports a sink and YETTI drink cooler below.
This beautiful machine also features a custom “twin engine” jack plate to raise the motors for shallow water, and a “Power Pole” remote rear anchor system. At the Helm you will find twin Raymarine screen’s including RADAR and Fish Finder. In the center is the Raymarine Auto Pilot.
