China files WTO complaint over US tariffs

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Monday that it has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) concerning Washington's proposed tariffs on 200 billion US dollars worth of Chinese goods. The commerce ministry said last week that China would immediately file a complaint to the WTO against U.S. unilateralism. In the statement, it illustrates that US' accusation of China gaining extra advantage through unfair trade practice is a distortion of facts and hence is groundless.
