Everyone who uses Photoshop should know about the wonder of Smart Objects. Even most people who know how to use them a bit, don't often know all the truly amazing things they can do.

Smart Objects are great for retaining a layer's fidelity. They share assets when duplicated. They are essentially another file inside your file. They also can have smart filters put on them which allows the filters to be editable.
