The swearing-in ceremony will take place following the city council meeting on Tuesday, February 23rd. Williams has been on the force for 21 years and has risen through the ranks to the position of chief. He has been a deputy chief for 3 years. He says earning the trust of the citizens of Mobile is his top priority.
