Convicted murderer and child rapist, Mortimer Saunders, has made a last-ditch attempt to avoid spending the rest of his life in prison. He’s apologised to the family of three-year-old Courtney Pieters. This in a bid to sway the court into handing down a lenient sentence, for the little girl’s murder, last year.
