Watch the holly trees being installed in Fountain Court at Hampton Court Palace! 馃巹 These hollies are direct clones from William III鈥檚 original 17th century Privy Garden. When the Privy Garden was restored in 1995 it was discovered that about three of the hollies in the garden were in fact originals from William鈥檚 privy garden, so, prior to these big old suffering trees being felled, cuttings were taken and rooted, to be used for planting and to replace any losses.
