(4 Oct 2018) Two New York City law professors on Thursday explained their reasoning for signing a petition calling on US senators to vote down Judge Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. Amanda Sen and Martin Flaherty cited Kavanaugh's judicial temperament during his testimony to a Senate Judiciary Committee last week as to why they felt he should not be confirmed. Hundreds of law professors signed onto a letter sent to the Senate on Thursday, urging senators to reject Kavanaugh's confirmation.
