Police say the 76-year-old man who drove against traffic on the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) on Thursday suffers from dementia and hearing difficulties.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the retired contractor had been released on bail after his statement was recorded.
