Jill Snyder, MOCA, and Anne Helmreich, Baker-Nord Center, introduce their respective institutions and their intent in exploring a collaborative model. - Lev Gonick introduces the purpose of the conference and the two big questions driving the discussion: 1) Where are the gaps in the field(s) of contemporary art and the digital humanities that could be filled by a partnership between a non-collecting contemporary art museum and a university humanities center? 2) Considering this potential partnership, what kinds of structures, programs and practices would add substantially to the field(s)?
