The 2018 Central Park Cross Country Invite was held on October 6, 2018 at Central Park in Huntington Beach ("Surf City") California. This video presents Race 7, the Section 1 Sophomore Boys. The course is 3 miles. The meet is hosted by Fountain Valley High School.

Commentary: Raen Reyes and Ryan Brothers lead D-1 La Quinta to an 11-point win. Reyes takes the lead just after the water station (7:30) and accelerates down the hill, widening the lead. He has become La Quinta's #1 this year, taking a minute off most of his frosh marks. Rowan Orlijan-Rhyne has done the same. Luke Kendall has averaged 2 minutes better than his frosh marks. Redondo shows their depth by nabbing 9 of the first 37 spots.
