Have we lost the human connection in excel sheets, steering committee meetings and funding reports? Do we need a radically different model of driving change in social development and organizational transformation projects?  This talk is a four point framework that any change maker can use to drive change at a local and global scale. It is powered by the human connection and the importance of remembering that every data line items represents a real live human. Sultan is an accomplished social entrepreneur, professional who has traveled to more than 70 countries and has worked around the world. He is the founder of Experience Your Life Expo, one of the largest youth empowerment and employment events in Canada, which focuses on connecting youth with opportunities to change the world. Sultan is also the founder of Library in a Week, an organization dedicated to illuminating the lives of some of the poorest children on the planet with the goal of building 100 libraries. Both of these organizations are ranked among the top social enterprises in Canada and have received various awards. Prior to becoming a social entrepreneur, Sultan worked in the corporate world for 17 years in various roles such as Worldwide Solutions Director, Practice Manager, and Chief Architect for companies like Microsoft and IBM. Sultan believes in living with purpose and uses every speaking opportunity to not just motivate but mobilize people to connect with their purpose.
