The Panel 1 discussion, How Body Computing Enhances Patient Care and Challenges Traditional Medical Practice, was moderated by Andrew Thompson, president and chief executive officer of Proteus Biomedical. Panelists were: Jim Tobin, president and chief executive officer of Boston Scientific; Neal Eigler, general manager of CRMD Technology Incubator Savacor at St. Jude Medical, Inc., and co-director of the Cardiovascular Intervention Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Omar Ishrak, president and chief executive officer of clinical systems at GE Healthcare; and Chris OConnell, senior vice president of Medtronic and president of Medtronic Diabetes.
