How's it going everyone in this RPG Maker MV First Impressions video we take a look at a Side Story from An Ethurian Tale by Damian Floyd. This game has a ton of work put into it and is worth a look, if just to get an idea of how to do a certain aspects. I think the bgm is well picked and the art style is good. The mapping is great and the battle system is actually fun. There are a ton of custom skills with unique animations and action sequences. The only problem with the game is that it actually has too much going on. The numbers are a bit high and there is a large amount of reading and learning to get done before you can get into the meat of the game. The game jumps from town to town without any battles at the beginning of the game. I feel like this is a basis of a great game but needs some more battles, less skills and abilities and the numbers tuned down a bit. More balancing is required but overall I really like what the future holds for this game studio and hope they continue to improve on their games. Great job putting this all together Damian.
